My name is Mac Kozi.
I am a freelance film professional with a passion for creating content that people enjoy. I work in the Camera Department currently as a Camera Assistant, Digital Loader, and Digital Utility. I am a member of IASTE Local 600 International Cinematographers Guild and based in Chicago. I am experienced and skilled in almost every currently used camera systems/workflow as well as wireless video setups, wireless follow focus systems, and editing/color/media management software used on set. My work consists network television shows, feature films, commercials, music videos. On non union jobs I am also a well experienced Director of Photography, Camera Operator, and even Live Event Director/Technical Director working on all sorts of different projects.
I have always been a driven individual who refuses to settle for average. Since an early age I have been obsessed with creating and found myself to have a unique vision of the world around us and the need to portray that through my work. As a collaborator with a professional attitude and hard work ethic, I strive to ease the stress of production and ensure that everything is running smoothly and efficiently as possible. I prefer to work smart and fast under pressure, and with people that challenge me to improve my craft.
